Reservations are available online. Reserve your ticket now, a limited number of walk-up tickets will be available.
We recommend visiting between 9:30am-12:30pm or 1:30pm-4:30pm for a more complete experience. Some spaces may be closed mid-day to accommodate staff lunch breaks.
Admissions
$17.00 for adults and children; children under 12 months are free.
Feinstein Junior Scholar cardholders receive one-time free admission for one child and one adult per card.
Neighborhood Health Plan of RI health insurance cardholders receive free admission with card.
Admission is $5.00 each for up to four people for Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cardholders with ID, as part of the Museums for All program.
Admission is free for up to 5 people for Active Military members with their military ID from Armed Forces Day (May 17, 2025) to Labor Day (September 1, 2025), through the Blue Stars Museum program.
Providence Children’s Museum members are always free.

Group rates and building rentals are also available.
The Museum accepts cash, check, Discover, Visa and Mastercard. PCM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our admission fees cover only a portion of the cost to provide high-quality play, creative exploration and educational experiences to our community.
Museum Code of Conduct
The following are prohibited in the Museum:

Offensive, abusive, threatening or violent language or behavior

Wearing or otherwise displaying profane, obscene or injurious language, texts or graphics

Unauthorized distribution of pamphlets, other literature or third-party sales

Possession, use and/or selling of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs

Possession of weapons of any kind

Use of bicycles, scooters, skateboards, or skates

Smoking, vaping, and using cannabis

Pets, with the exception of service animals
All visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All adults must be accompanied by a child. Any visit for museum research by an unaccompanied adult must be arranged prior to your visit.
Providence Children’s Museum reserves the right to refuse admission, revoke membership, or remove any person who violates this code of conduct or exhibits disruptive behavior that, in our judgement, may damage property or harm, cause offense to, or disrupt the enjoyment by other visitors.

Take No. 1, 3, 4, 51, 54, 58, 72, or 92 from Kennedy Plaza to Eddy Street and walk three short blocks to the Museum.
Parking
There is free off-street parking in the Museum’s lot. On busier days, the lot fills quickly. Metered parking (one or two hours) is available on many of the streets surrounding PCM.
Traveling North to Providence – 95 to Exit 20 (Point St) and bear right at the light, onto Point Street. Take the 1st left after the light onto Hospital Street. PCM is on the right.
Traveling South to Providence – 95S to Exit 21 (Atwells Ave). Straight for one mile and turn left onto Point St. Take the 2nd left onto Hospital Street. PCM is on the right.
Traveling West to Providence – 195W to Exit 1A (Point St). Bear right at the light, onto Point St. Take the 1st left after the light onto Hospital St. PCM is on the right.
Traveling East to Providence – US-6E and keep right at the fork, following signs for US-6 E. Follow signs for Memorial Blvd/Downtown, merge onto Memorial Blvd. Continue onto Dyer St, and then onto Eddy St. Turn right onto South St and drive 3 blocks. PCM is on the left.
