PCM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit institution relying on ticket sales and memberships to cover 50% of our operating costs. The remaining balance of our budget is made up by generous donors like you.

Gifts of appreciated securities are an easy way to make a gift to Providence Children’s Museum. Giving stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares can have tax advantages for you as well as the capital gains are typically not subject to income tax.

Your gift to Providence Children’s Museum may be matched by your employer through charitable contribution match programs. Check with your HR department to see if your gift is eligible for matching your company program.
Constellation Society

The Constellation Society honors and recognizes those who support Providence Children’s Museum by creating a provision in their financial and estate plans to benefit this important educational and cultural institution. Such gifts are invested. Relative to each designation, funds are used to help support special educational programs and projects and the ongoing annual costs necessary to operate the Museum.

Gift Membership

Approximately one-third of the Museum’s operating income comes from charitable tax-deductible gifts.

Your generosity enables the Museum to:

  • Welcome families regardless of their ability to pay admission fees.
  • Partner with Head Start and inner-city community centers and ensure memorable learning experiences for children most in need.
  • Provide positive shared experiences for children in foster care and their parents.
  • Advocate for the importance of play in children’s healthy development.

Inscribe a Brick

Honor a special person or celebrate a special occasion with a personalized inscribed brick in the Children’s Museum’s sunlit atrium walkway. This is a timeless way to support the Museum and announce to the world that someone has made a difference in your life.

All names of honored or memorialized individuals will be listed in the Museum’s Annual Report.

Reservations are available online. Reserve your ticket now, or purchase walk-up tickets when you arrive.

Masks are optional for most activities at PCM.

More than a Museum
PCM is committed to serving the children of southern New England – regardless of their financial ability. 40% of the Museum’s budget is dedicated to welcoming one-third of the Museum’s total audience free of charge or at greatly reduced rates through a variety of outreach programs.
